                          Our Turkeys

                          Each year in July we raise a batch of Broad Breasted white turkeys.  Most of our customers want the large breast and no pin feathers of the traditional turkey.  That is why we do not raise heritage breed turkeys.  For four weeks the chicks are raised in a brood house then they are put out on pasture to roam free until they are at finish weight in November.  The turkeys are fed local grains to go along with the grass and bugs they forage for themselves while grazing in the pasture. We only raise a limited number of these each season and we usually take pre orders starting in September.  They are sold frozen in November.  Follow us on Face Book or Twitter to know when we start taking pre-orders!
